Privacy policy
What this website collects, and what it does not. In effect from 26 October 2026.
The short version
This website has no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no ads. We count visits without knowing who you are.
Who we are
Skalain is a small studio in Jakarta, Indonesia, that builds and owns its products. This policy covers this website only. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +62 838 7393 3412.
Visit statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are read and where visitors come from. For each page view it records the page address, the referring site, the country and city worked out from your connection, your browser, operating system and device type, and the time.
It sets no cookies. A visitor is told apart by a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, and the statistics are not tied to your IP address. Vercel explains this in its analytics privacy notes.
Hosting
Vercel hosts this website. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and to block abuse, under Vercel’s privacy policy.
Fonts
The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser sends Google its IP address and browser details when a page opens, under Google’s privacy policy.
The WhatsApp buttons open a chat with us in WhatsApp, which Meta runs. If you write to us, we see your number, your WhatsApp name and your messages, and use them only to reply. We do not sell or share them, and we delete the conversation if you ask.
Our products
Kiu, Kasmart and Arka are separate services, each with its own privacy policy. Kasmart’s is at kasmart.pages.dev/en/privacy and Arka’s is at Arka privacy policy. Kiu’s will be linked here once it is published.
Your rights
Under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022) you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to us on WhatsApp at +62 838 7393 3412.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with the date it takes effect.
